Drawing on over a century of experience and tradition and placing importance on making the firm a good corporate member of society, our entire staff is guided by the basic policy laid down by the late chairman of the Suzuye Group, Mr. Takehiko Suzuye: “To give confidence and gain trust all things must be done with sincerity.”

Patent Office

1910 CHIKATARO SUZUYE establishes the Suzuye Patent Firm.
1949 TAKEHIKO SUZUYE is admitted as a patent attorney.
1987 TAKEHIKO SUZUYE becomes president of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association.
1990 With the commencement of electronic filing at the Japan Patent Office,our firm begins filing applications electronically.
2001 Our firm is rated top for performance by PATENT TECSHA Co., Ltd.
2005 Akira Kohno becomes vice president of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association.
2010 100th anniversary
2013 S & S International PPC is organized and starts the patent and trademark business to provide the perpetual service for our clients.

about Takehiko Suzuye

1928 Born in Tokyo, Japan.
1949 Admitted as Patent Attorney, Japan.
1953 Tohoku University (B.E., Telecommunication Engineering).
1957 Nihon University (LL.B.,).
1980 - 2010 Chairman: The Suzuye Institute of International Property Rights.
1983 Decorated with the Medal of a Yellow Ribbon for industriousness.
1987 President: Japanese Patent Attorneys Association.
1998 Decorated with the fourth Class Order of the Sacred Treasure.
2010 Passed away and conferred with Senior Sixth Rank.
